Time in Ecuador
Time in Ecuador, with respect to the Greenwich meridian, is five hours less (5 GMT). To calculate the time in the Province of Galapagos, it is 6 hours less than the Greenwich meridian (6 GMT).

Electrical Energy
In Ecuador, 110 V, 60 cycles, AC, is used which is the same as in the US, however it is not compatible with the energy in Great Britain, Australia and some European countries.

Weights and Measures
Ecuador uses the International Metric System, if some travelers use other measures like miles, leagues, ounces, etc. you should consult a metric conversion table. If you do not have one, you can ask in the reception of the hotel where you are staying.
