Sal y Mileto

The musical group Sal y Mileto was started in 1994 in Quito by Peky Andino (songwriter) and Paul Segovia (guitar and vocals). Rounding out the group are Cesar Albarracin (bass and flute), Igor Icaza (drums and vocals), Victor Narvaez (acoustic guitar, keyboard and vocals) and Jorge Luis Rosero (minor percussion). In 1995, Franko Aguirre (bass and voice) joined the band establishing the group as it is today.

In 1996, Sal y Mileto produced music for theater and and brought to the scene the first rock-theater in Ecuador, "Ceremonia con sangre del corazon," a work consider by the newspaper "Hoy" as one of the best shows in 1996.

In 1998, the band produced a song for the movie "Ratas, ratones y rateros" from the ecuadorian director Sebastian Corder.

In June of the same year Sal y Mileto released their self-titled CD, "Sal y Mileto"

In 2001 they released their second CD, "Disko Cero" which was widely acclaimed. They are currently working on their third CD.
