Day 1:
Departure from Quito at 9:00am.
Stop at 'Mitad del Mundo' ('Middle of the World')
and visit the museum (entrance to museum not included).
As we drive you can watch the immense and beautiful
landscapes from the road on our way to the Cloud Forest
and we're sure you'll love it.
Lunch.
Hike to Amarillo River and El Mono (which means monkey)
Waterfall, allowing you to observe the natural habitat
of the area. It is possible to stand under the waterfall
to feel its massaging effects.
Return to the Lodge.
Hike to El Palmito Waterfall, allowing you to observe
the amazing biodiversity of the forest ecosystem.
It is possible to stand under the waterfall to feel
its massaging effects.
Return to the Lodge.
Dinner with welcome cocktail.
Campfire.
Day 2:
Breakfast.
Hike to the Patchijal River, the largest in the area.
From the trails you will be amazed by the views of
the primary forest and fauna

characteristics of the Cloud Forest.
It is possible to swim in the river.
Packed lunch.
Fishing.
Return to the Lodge.
Dinner.
Day 3:
Bird watching early in the morning
Breakfast.
Hike to El Manantial waterfall. From the trails you
can watch the primary forest and fauna characteristics
of the Cloud Forest. It is possible to swim in the
waterfall.
Return to the Lodge.
Lunch.
Visit to the view-point (mirador) where you will be
struck by the beauty of the area.
Dinner.
Day 4:
Milking the cows early in the morning.
Breakfast.
Visit to artisans group in the village.
Visit to archaeological pre-Inca site in Tulipe town.
Return to Quito at 1:00pm.
