We
leave the hotel at 6:30 am, then we head south of
Quito. We take the road that goes to the "Santuario
del Cinto" in order to get to Lloa to then get
to the refuge. It is located at 3800mts. There we
have a short hike towards the main entrance of the
volcano, then we continue to the summit. At the top
we are able to distinguish the majority of the mountains´
tops that are around Quito. Inside the volcano we
can admire the mountain kettle in active condition.
Finally, we go down the mountain and return to Quito.
