DAY
1. - Early exit from the place of lodging. We will
take the Panamericana Sur going through the Avenue
of the Volcanos. We will arrive to Ambato, and then
continue to Guaranda, where we take the road to the
refuge Edward Whymper located at 5.000 mts. Rest and
dinner.
DAY 2. - After a slight breakfast, we will leave at
12:00 am and start our climb to the summit of the
mountain. This will take approximately 7 - 8 hours,
it demands of good physical conditions. The descent
will take us from 3 to 4 hours, once we arrive at
the refuge we will have a rest. We will pick up our
baggage and return to Quito.

Because of the mountain´s altitude we strongly
recommend acclimatizing and have a good physical condition.
