rivers of Ecuador with the best security.
Equipment (Provided by tour operator)
Life vest, helmet, paddle.
Raft or kayak, pump for inflating the raft, straps
(for tying equipment), repair kit, waterproof bags, first
aid kit, rescue cords and poles.
What to take
1. Two pairs of waterproof sandals
2. Two changes of clothing plus a towel
3. Cap or visor that can get wet
4. Tent
5. Flashlight
6. Insect repellent
7. Sunscreen and sunglasses
8. Lightweight nylon jacket
9. Waterproof camera
10. We recommend you use a bathing suit and shorts that
are not cotton while on the river and warm clothing for
afterward. The articles that are suggested here are not
indispensable but will make your trip more comfortable.
11. Avoid taking sharp objects that could puncture the
raft.
Recommendations
Don’t drink the water from the rivers, take a water
bottle.
Chose the type of river according to your experience,
certain rapids can be extremely dangerous.
Choose the optimal time of the year for the trip. Check with your local tour operator.
