Cycling throughout Ecuador as a whole is a completely doable activity. Each day, bikers are discovering new routes and opening new trials for the enjoyment of everyone. Below we recommend some of the favorite routes:

Guagua Pichincha - Quito (Pichincha Province)
From the peak of this active volcano located only 10 kilometers from Quito, descent is begun where you can admire the city of Quito on a clear day and the volcanoes that surround it.

Quilotoa Lake - Cotopaxi Province
The crater of an active volcano that is filled with an unforgettable green lake and surrounded by the beauty of the Andean landscape. Stops in Zumbahua and Pujilí, two interesting indigenous communities.

The City of Baños - Tungurahua Province
Maybe one of the places with the greatest number of options for cycling tours. Trips of one day around the town, to the Tungurahua volcano and the famous trip down the Route of the Waterfalls, the Orchids and the Guavas, until you reach the .Pailon del Diablo . or the Oriente, with its amazing attractions.

Geo-botanical Reserve of Pululahua - Quito (Pichincha Province)
Ideal for Downhill trips. The crater of Pululahua offers several trails for different trips to enjoy the flora, fauna, steep canyons, incredible landscapes and descents of more than 1000 meters. Guiding is necessary.

Cotopaxi Volcano and Cotopaxi National Park - Cotopaxi Province
Throughout the Cotopaxi National Park and the incredible beauty of the typical flora of the alpine tundra, you can admire 8 volcanoes in the surrounding areas until you have descended to the lakes of Limpiopungo and the pine forest. Other routes that detour the Panamerican highway and other more difficult trails go through Angamarca a town in Cotopaxi.

Papallacta - Pichincha Province
Situated on the downward slopes of the eastern Andes that go down towards the Amazon rainforest. You can enjoy the rivers, the lake that carries its name and the amazing views. Only 1 hour away from Quito.

Metropolitan Park - Quito (Pichincha Province)
For those you want short trips without leaving the city, the Metropolitan Park in the area of El Batan, offers a professional course for MTB where year after year, important races take place. Different trails and routes are available for all levels. Restaurants, parking and other services are available.
