Recommendations
Ecuador provides many opportunities for climbing new routes. But the danger for beginners and experienced climbers due to errors is great, we recommend that you always go accompanied by a professional guide and always take appropriate equipment for each adventure.
Necessary Equipment
Hiking shoes or boots
Rubber boots (necessary for most walks in addition to hiking shoes)
Between 2 and 3 layers of warm clothing: thermal clothes, sweater and pants, rain jacket and pants (nylon)
Gloves and mittens
Ski mask
Hand flashlight or head lamp
Sunglasses
Sleeping bag for low temperatures
Sleeping mat
Water bottle
Small backpack
Sun screen and repellent in some cases
Camera
